An extravagant and, at the same time, hard-wearing natural wood floor with the particular attraction of intense shades of colour in the wood. EVERY FLOOR IS UNIQUE!

Oak wood with consistent colouring resulting from special heat treatment (without chemical additives). Oak plank in 3-layer construction with small bevel on long side and approx. 3,5 mm top layer, with approx. 4 mm backing in the same wood and middle layer conifer. Tongue and groove on all sides for easy installation. Small open cracks and unsealed spots of a few millimetres are permitted. Knots up to 25 mm diameter possible. 

Vulcano woods are thermo treated. The woods are proverbially baked without chemical additives and are therefore given a darker shade across the entire material crosscut. Vulcano therefore represents a responsible and ecological alternative to tropical woods.

The mafi philosophy ensures the complete tree is used and nothing is wasted. The resulting variations in lengths and width underline the character of a natural wooden floor.

* A range of ‘fixed dimensions’ (see Product Data Sheet download below) are generally possible, however an extra charge for this will be applied. mafi always uses the entire tree which is naturally different in length and width. The additional charge for fixed dimensions is because the room for manoeuvre during production are tight and more difficult in terms of raw materials.
