The Pebble Chair, featured by Teer & Co

The idea of balancing stones inspired this piece by Hannah Tracy, a sustainable Maker of timber furniture, objects and sculpture.  

Much of the inspiration for the forms you see in her work came from a hiking trip exploring the coast of Corfu. The concept behind the pebble inspired furniture came from sea caves filled with cairns. 

The Pebble Chair combines elements of sculpture with functional furniture to reflect feelings and sensations often associated with nature. Each pebble was carved and shaped by hand in English oak.
